Jon Leverett grew up in a self-described “Rotary Family” where his older brother and parents owned a total of 20 Mazda RX-7s throughout his youth. Jon’s first car was his brother’s silver 1988 Mazda RX-7 GXL.

Jon’s unconventional story to pursue his dream of working in the automotive industry started in architecture, then as a salesman at a Mazda dealer after turning down a job at Volvo, and ultimately ending up at Mazda.

Jon Leverett is a Launch Manager for Strategic Planning & Integration for Mazda’s North American Operations. One of his most celebrated accomplishments at Mazda USA is the launch of the 35th Anniversary Mazda Miata for North America.
